Cedars: A Fusion of Steel and
Wood in Sculptural Form

'Cedars' is a outdoor sculpture born from a case study I conducted while envisioning a larger commissioned work. In this piece, I explored the intriguing combination of corten steel, known for its distinctive weathering quality, with the natural warmth of cedar logs.

Opting for a pinecone-shaped design, I aimed to create a visual and thematic connection to the cedar material, resulting in a harmonious blend of industrial and organic elements.
